Lady Marauders cruise to three-set victory over UC-Clermont on Senior Night

WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Central State Lady Marauders cruised to a 3-0 win over UC-Clermont on Thursday in the final home match of the season.

Megan Meyer's accomplishments during the school's pre-match ceremony, CSU jumped out to a 12-6 lead. Sparked by the play of
Hailey White, CSU coasted to a 25-15 win over the Cougars with White converting all five of her attacks for kills.

In another 25-15 win in set two, reigning SIAC Newcomer of the Week
Jazmyne Walker stepped up with five kills of her own as CSU went up 2-0 in the match.

White and Walker simultaneously stood out in the final set. White converted six of seven attacks while Walker added another five kills as CSU knocked off UC-Clermont, 25-17.

White finished the night with 13 kills and an season-best .867 hitting percentage. Walker also had 13 kills along with five digs. Setter
Kayla Adams led all players with 39 assists and 10 digs.

UC-Clermont, which fell to 16-3 overall, was paced by four kills from Sarah Andrews.

Improving to 19-9 overall, Central State will resume conference play on Friday at rival Kentucky State.
