Central State to honor 2021 Hall of Fame inductees on campus on April 29th



WILBERFORCE, Ohio - The Central State University Department of Athletics will welcome the 2021 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees back to campus for an in-person induction ceremony on campus on Friday, April 29th.


The original induction ceremony scheduled in October of last year was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions along with a majority of other on-campus events during CSU's Homecoming. 


Each inductee was officially introduced and honored during interviews shown on the department's social media channels in October as the University successfully pivoted to a virtual homecoming format. After successfully implementing health and safety protocols, CSU began hosting in-person athletic events in December and have continued to welcome individuals back to campus through a wide array of University sponsored events.


This year's Hall of Fame ceremony will honor:


Maurice Calhoun - Football
Beverly Grant - Track & Field
Bryan Herd - Football
Harold Hogue - Football
Terry Morrow - Football
Sherdon Smith - Track & Field

The event will begin at 7 pm  in the University Center Ballroom.
