For those with very long memories – Saturday afternoon's contest between the Marauders and the Bellarmine Knights is something of a grudge match.
Bellarmine University Sports Information Director John Spugnardi remembers. He says the record shows that when the two teams met in an NCAA Division II tournament in 1982 – the Marauders won in a nail-biter 62-61. The finish stunned the Knights – who had traded the lead with the Marauders several times during the closely fought contest.
