  Robert Harris, senior guard, and Chris Montgomery, junior guard, came off the bench with strong shooting performances Thursday night.  Harris with 13 points, shot 3-5 with one three-pointer, and went a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line.  Montgomery, with 12 points, shot 5-7 from the floor with 2 three-pointers.

           “We don’t lose in the crib” could be heard from the stands Monday night as the Marauders took on St. Joseph’s College. Not only were the Marauders playing for their 20th win of the season, they were also playing to remain in the top 8 in the Midwest Division.   The top 8 teams in each of the 8 division earn a spot in the NCAA tournament. With the Marauders win Saturday night, they are one game closer to getting a shot at a national title.

On Monday, February 22, 2010, 7:00pm, the Central State University Men’s Basketball team plays an important home game against St. Joseph’s College (IN). This is a NCAA Tournament elimination game – whoever wins has a strong chance of going to the NCAA Division II Tournament.

The Marauders capitalized on the Bulldogs miscues scoring an incredible 39 points off of turnovers.  Central State took good care of the basketball only committing 10 turnovers, tying a low for the season.
