Women’s Basketball Top Wilberforce University 81-70
The Lady Marauders scored 81 points, their second highest total of the season.  With that win their record improves to 8-13 and Wilberforce falls to 5-13.

The “Pink Wave” is an initiative that raises awareness for breast cancer research. NCAA teams are encouraged to participate by wearing pink during one of their games -- and the Lady Marauders will be doing just that during their Monday game.

Lady Marauders Upset Kentucky State 70-68
Behind strong performances by Brooklyn Morrow, Laura Longmire, and Ashley McGee, the Marauders walked away with a victory in dramatic fashion.

THIS IS MARAURDER LAND!
There was collectively huge statement made by the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams on Saturday night and it went something like this… “THIS IS MARAUDER LAND”. In two crucial victories on their home floor both programs showed their resolve, poise, and their will to fight for 40 minutes. The standing room only atmosphere inside Beacom/Lewis Gymnasium was electric and the Marauder crowd was awesome.

Marauder Basketball Programs Garner ICAA Honors
The Independents Collegiate Athletic Association has released their post-season honors. The Lady Marauders, Shayla Henderson, a 5'10" forward from Phoenix, AZ was named to the Second Team All-ICAA Women's Team. Natasha Galloway, 6'1" Senior Center from Cincinnati, OH and Ijeoma Ofomata, 5'10" guard/forward from London, England were both named to the Third Team All-ICAA.    The Lady Marauders finished the season with a 16-7 record.

CSU Rival Comes to Campus for Marauder Basketball Double-Header
The Marauder Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will be hosting Kentucky State University this Saturday Jan. 23rd at 5:00pm and 7:00pm respectively. This marks an important Marauder double-header and promises to have all of the intense basketball action this classic rivalry usually produces.  Both schools, rich in HBCU basketball history, always bring their best to this night and fierce competition is sure to be the outcome seen by all in attendance. In the first game the Lady Marauder’s will be taking on the Kentucky State University Women’s team. And the second game pits the Marauder Men’s Basketball squad, currently ranked 5th in the NCAA DIV II Midwest region, against the KSU Thorobred Men’s Team.
